day 3... here we are..
went to the Mundaring weir national park at Perth hills..
i weir is something like a dam...
a weir:
a weir is somehing that holds water back into a resevoir...unlike a dam it doesn't allow water through... the weir has only ever overflowed once ever since it was built in erm.. 19 something...
and it was engineered by C.Y. O'conner
who committed suicide before the completion of the weir due to the harsh criticism recieved...
lesson learned:
don't criticise so much!!!the weir was first planned when the last gold rush happened in australia, kalgoorlie and coolgradie
the pipeline still runs today, supplying water to the settlement
okay so time for some pictures...
this are pictures of the nature reserve around the water catchment area...and then some pictures of the weir...
afetr that hm... we went to explore the pump station and my cam was running out of battery and so was my phone so i got very few shots...
but i'll put what i got...
and i just found out i got nothing...
so well afetr this we went back to the hotel and this was the seond last night we spent in the hotel...

it was so terrifying but still i sat through the last part of it
and doreen was so shocked and she screamed every time i mentioned granny
and that was so funny ... haha
but that was the first night we spent together...
